That was an interesting story. Although Mud daubers look mean they are less mean than yellow jackets.

More importantly, their stings hurt like hell, but still not as long-lasting as yellow jackets, which is more of a hot throbbing burning sensation for many hours... And they're not too aggressive, but they are somewhat territorial as expected.

Oh God. When I had my 919 for the first few days, I was nowhere near the freeway when I found a yellow jacket STINGING MY RIGHT LEG. Thank God I had so much control despite the instant jolt of pain.

7 years ago I was walking in the woods. Stepped on the thousandth log whatever... It collapsed. My leg was covered in yellow jackets.
